Single-sided tapes
Single sided adhesive tape consists of a backing and an adhesive. To ensure that the adhesive bonds perfectly to the backing, the backing is treated with a primer. The upper surface of the backing also undergoes a treatment known as release, which facilitates unwinding of the product and prevents the tape from sticking to itself.
